My name is Brady Coyle and I am a 26-year-old outdoor adventure professional. My first wilderness experience was in 2005, when I spent my summer canoe tripping at Camp Temagami, and my passion grew from there. I began guiding at Camp Temagami in 2010 and have been involved in the outdoor industry ever since.
In the fall of 2012, I began Algonquin College’s Outdoor Adventure program. During my two years at Algonquin College, I was immersed in both the guiding and the business side of the outdoor adventure industry. I graduated Algonquin College in the spring of 2014. I am competent and confident in my ability as an outdoor adventure guide, as well as my capacity to coordinate and direct outdoor programming.
Since graduating from college in 2014, I have worked in Canada and Australia leading a wide variety of expeditions. I have ten years of experience guiding wilderness expeditions and teaching outdoor adventure courses. I have guided a wide range of expeditions, including canoeing, hiking, cycling and snowshoeing. I have taught courses in high ropes, abseiling, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, raft building, archery, camp craft and orienteering. I am a passionate, experienced and certified outdoor educator.
In the Spring of 2019, I graduated from Lakehead University's School of Outdoor Recreation, receiving an Honours Bachelor in Outdoor Recreation and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography. After a summer of leading canoe trips in the Northwest Territories and a Fall of leading canoe trips in Temagami, I have returned to Thunder Bay, Ontario, which is where I call home.
